I AM

Greetings! Thank you for taking a minute to read about who I AM. Writing about this used to be a daunting task for me. For the longest time, I was sharing solely what I felt the outside world wanted to read; the me behind my fierce fashion business. Fast forward12 years and a self-empowerment journey later, I’ve built a purpose-driven brand which flourished to expressions beyond fashion, and now empowers the integration of mind, body, soul

WHERE IT STARTED

Like all humans here to live out their mission and purpose, I arrived on this planet ready to do this work.

I was born with a potent connection to the divine. From my innate knowing and remembrance of Yeshua, seeing and talking to him in my room before anyone had taught me of him, to “𝘌𝘛” experiences which took me years to understand were gifts of light code activations — and not the traumatic “𝘢𝘣𝘥𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯” stories I worked hard to forget— I was what some might call “different.” While other kids collected toys, I collected sacred emblems and built an altar in my room to start and end my day in prayer. I was connected to a higher guidance that I trusted and never felt a need to define. ⁣⁣⁣

As I entered Catholic school years, I did the thing we get wired to do. I put my superhuman connection to the divine within a human construct that could be understood in society. I figured I’d be a nun one day (𝘺𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮), serve humanity, and keep the “𝘶𝘯𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦” parts of my story to myself.

⁣⁣⁣By my adolescent years, I went from embracing my “𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴” to wanting to experience the other end of the spectrum and just fit it. I made a choice to put parts of me in chapters of my story no one gets to read, and present only expressions that were likable, understandable, some might say “𝘨𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘴,” and safe to share.

I knew I wanted to create beauty in this world and had a natural gift for fashion so being a fashion designer became my next life goal.

I started with the earthly credentials that would help manifest that dream. I earned a BBA in International Business from UGA, and a post-grad degree in Fashion Design from FIDM. Somewhere between degrees I married my high school sweetheart (15 years later, ex-husband). Upon graduating, I entered the path of motherhood. I know why my soul chose it, but at that time, it was not in my life plan to enter it so soon. By 2012, I’d birthed my tribe: Izzi, Jacob, Thomas, and my angel Gemeriah, stillborn in 2009. Juggling little ones, healing work, and being in a marriage that was not supportive of my purpose beyond wife/mother, while trying to start a business in the cutthroat world of fashion, was no easy task.

Although at the time, it felt like I was trying to make the impossible possible, the gift was in the unfolding the whole time. Being my own spiritual teacher and self-empowerment guide so I could then do it for others, re-connecting with my spirit team the way I was born doing but at a whole other level, and feeling free to expand my container beyond just fashion, as much as I still enjoy offering that one. Who wants a cookie cutter business path when you can have divinely orchestrated path, right?
